Will this course still be helpful to me?The user interface is significantly different in Office 2007, however much of the functionality is the same in both 2003 and 2007. There are many new features in Office 2007, however the basic principles in the course apply to 2003 users.Will we be exploring in detail the Fluent User Interface (The Ribbon)?Yes, we will be exploring the user interface in detail and the expanded formatting functionality in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Will we be covering Master pages in PowerPoint?Yes, we will be covering in detail how to create and modify the Master page. In addition, focus will be given to creating design templates and slide libraries.Will I learn how to use MS Query?Yes, you learn how to use the MS Query Wizard to retrieve external data, but we do not cover the Query By Example (QBE) grid or OLAP cubes.
Will I learn how to program with macros or VBA in this course?No, this course focuses on application skills without coding.
