Learning Tree Instructors
Learning Tree Course instructors work full-time in high-tech companies, R & D labs and other business environments where they use the very technologies they teach. Because they've already solved the same technical problems you're likely to encounter, they are equipped to share their real-world experience and practical solutions with you. Everything you learn is practical, relevant and up-to-the-minute.
Before teaching a single course, our instructors must pass a rigorous selection and training process to prove they can deliver superior quality Learning Tree training.
First, we interview candidates to ensure they have strong communication skills so they can pass along their expertise effectively.
Next, the course author takes all candidates through a detailed checklist to make sure they have both the technical expertise and practical work experience necessary to teach the course.
All candidates then go through our intensive Train-the-Trainer program where they learn the latest techniques in Active Learning. To graduate, they must deliver three course presentations and receive excellent evaluations.
Successful candidates next audit the course they will teach, and present part of the course for evaluation by the senior instructor for an assessment.
The most successful candidates then co-teach a course with an experienced instructor acting as their mentor. They present half or more of the course for evaluation by the senior instructor.
Finally, the candidate is assigned to a solo teach. Course attendees complete detailed evaluations of all instructors, and these are used to pinpoint ongoing development activities that constantly improve their scores.
The average Learning Tree instructor receives a grade of 3.70 on a 4.00 scale, so you receive training from the highest-quality instructors available anywhere.
