INTEGRATING MAC OS X INTO WINDOWS ENVIRONMENTS
RESTON, VA (June 5, 2008) Learning Tree International (NASDAQ NM: LTRE) has announced the addition of a new course to its IT curricula. Entitled Integrating Mac OS X into a Windows Environment: Hands-On, the 4-day course offers participants the opportunity to gain practical experience integrating OS X desktops and servers into a Windows enterprise environment.
Led by an expert instructor through a progressive case study, attendees will also be taught how to:
- Navigate the OS X file system, install Mac applications and run Windows virtual machines
- Share enterprise resources across a diverse Windows and Mac OS X network
- Configure LDAP services including Active Directory and Open Directory
- Streamline daily tasks with tools like ADUC, Workgroup Manager, Remote Desktop and Time Machine
- Deploy network services like DNS, Time and replication to establish Mac/Windows communication
Integrating Mac OS X into a Windows Environment: Hands-On is valuable for those who need to integrate Mac OS X into a Windows environment, including Windows system administrators, UNIX system administrators, Apple power users, Windows power users moving to Macintosh, system integrators and help desk/support people.

Learning Tree intends to begin presenting Integrating Mac OS X into a Windows Environment: Hands-On at its Education Centers in the US and London, England in July 2008.
